How to Change Photo in Pan Card?
To know how to change the photo on your PAN card, follow the steps given below.
Step 1– First of all go to the NSDL website https://www.onlineservices.nsdl.com/paam/endUserRegisterContact.html
Step 2– Now some such page will open in front of you as shown in the screenshot below. There, from the “Application Type” option, select the option “Changes or Correction in existing PAN data”.
Step 3– Now select the option “Individual” from the “Category” menu
Step 4– Now enter all the information being asked in the applicant’s information- name, date of birth, e-mail, PAN number, and mobile number.
Step 5– Now enter “Applicant Information” and then click on the “Submit” button.
Step 6– Now note down the generated token number and continue with the PAN application. As shown in the above screenshot.
Step 7– Now select the option of KYC, and choose how you want to do KYC.
Step 8– Now enter the other mandatory information being asked like Aadhar / EID and other information being asked.
Step 9– Now tick on “Photo Mismatch” and “Signature Mismatch” and enter the father or mother details and click on the “Next” button for PAN card signature change or photo update. See the below screenshot.
Step 10– Now in the “Address and Contact” section, fill your personal information like address, contact, etc. whatever is being asked.
Step 11– Now go ahead and provide proof of identity, proof of address, and proof of date of birth.
Step 12– If you submit a copy of your Aadhar card, then the above three requirements will be fulfilled. You will also need to submit a copy of your PAN or PAN allotment letter.
Step 13– Now tick the declaration and click in the “Submit” button to submit your details.
Step 14– Upload the scanned copy of the document for verification. You can also scan from your mobile.
Step 15– Now check the form thoroughly and after checking your information click on the “Submit” button otherwise if you have to edit something, you can click on “Edit” to update your information.
Step 16– Now if your address comes only in India then Rs 101. (Including GST) , which you have to pay. You can make payments online.
Step 17- Now save the application for taking print and take out the print, so that you can post it further.
Step 18– After the printout, send the application for Income Tax PAN Services UNIT (Managed by NSDL e-Governance Infrastructure Limited) to NSDL’s address.
